About Us

The Chartering Department of Glogos Project is a team of highly qualified shipbrokers and maritime logistics specialists, engaged in arranging tonnage for export and import of general cargoes, project shipments, and bulk commodities worldwide. We maintain a strong presence in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Spain.

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop client relationships.

Assess client needs, calculate voyage efficiency, and design voyage combinations and contracts.

Commercial management of dry bulk fleet.

Negotiate freight contracts and charter parties.

Develop client portfolio and maintain CRM records.

Chartering of third-party tonnage.

Market analysis and preparation of commercial plans.

Contribution to strategic business development initiatives.

Requirements:

Established client portfolio (preferred).

Experience in freight market negotiations and tonnage sourcing (preferred).

Knowledge of shipowners in Russia and abroad.

Experience in time-chartering (preferred).

Negotiation skills for obtaining favorable freight rates and conditions.

Experience with owned tonnage management (chartering/operations).

Higher education.

Fluent English.

Head of Commercial Division (Multimodal Transport & Project Logistics)

About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive our multimodal and project logistics division. This position is key to developing long-term relationships with major clients, expanding our project portfolio, and ensuring professional support of international transportation deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Search for large clients with regular needs and establish contacts with them.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
  • Direct communication with clients, including commercial negotiations and transaction support.
  • Organize and lead meetings with prospective and existing clients.
  • Preparation of commercial proposals and tender documentation.
  • Conduct meetings with potential and existing clients.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in logistics, economics, or technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, confirmed deal experience, previous experience as a sales manager or project coordinator is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of English sufficient for confident oral and written communication with clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of specifics of multimodal, project, and container transportations (mandatory).
  • Availability of a pool of decision-maker contacts in logistics, transport, customs services, procurement (desirable).
  • Confident PC user (MS Excel, Office).
  • Knowledge of Bitrix and experience working in the system (desirable).
  • Experience interacting with contractors in various types of transport (advantage)

Desired Candidate Profile

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to find reliable subcontractors anywhere in the world, understanding local mentality and its impact on the process of concluding deals and carrying out transportations;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy (“the devil is in the details”);
  • Ability to negotiate rates to a mutually beneficial level, clearly explaining to both subcontractors and clients why this is the best price;
  • Professional English proficiency;
  • Zero tolerance for lies, ability to control the situation, subcontractors, and disciplined subordinates.

Responsibilities:

  • Organization and coordination of international oversized cargo transportatio
  • Route planning and budgeting of transportations. Documentary and technical support of transportations;
  • Professional negotiations with foreign subcontractors;
  • Risk management;
  • Control of budget and quality of transportation execution;
  • Availability of a verified subcontractor base;
  • Knowledge of the international transport market, understanding of adequate price levels;
  • Analytical mindset, enabling selection of optimal routes and achievement of optimal tariffs for transportations;
  • Control of payment schedules from clients and payments to subcontractors;
  • Control of subordinates’ work, timely error detection, monthly and quarterly reporting.

Experience: At least 6 years in international oversized cargo transportations.

Relevant Education: Logistics, Customs, Foreign Economic Activity.

Schedule: 9:00–18:00, hybrid (remote + office).

Сompensation: discussed individually based on interview results and consists of a fixed part, performance bonuses (KPI), and project completion bonuses.
